On the 8th and 9th of April 2024, I4byDesign organized a two days workshop on Additive Manufacturing and Circular Economy. The workshop took place in the premises of I4byDesign Learning Lab, which is equipped with the latest industrial 3D printing equipment and recycling set up.

People from Greek SMEs had the chance to attend trainings in a hybrid format (both in the Learning Lab, but also via MS Teams) from: 

  • Dr. Ria Pechlivani, Researcher Grade C’, CERTH
  • Dr. Nikolaos Kladovasilakis, Post-Doctoral Researcher, CERTH
  • Sotirios Pemas, Circular Economy Specialist, CERTH

And our partners from NTNU: 

  • Pal Erik Endrerud, Additive manufacturing Specialist, Staff Engineer, NTNU
  • Andrea Pettersen Halesen, Circular Economy Specialist, PhD Candidate, NTNU

For the people that were in the Lab, a hands-on training in 3D printing and filament recycling process took place after the end of the presentations.
